ORDINANCE NO. /5-7/—e <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special fund entitled, "Homeport/CBD Traffic Needs <br /> Study," Fund 335, Program 985, to accumulate all of the costs for the study. <br /> WHEREAS, on January 29, 1988 the City of Everett entered into an agreement <br /> with the Washington State Department of Transportation to provide 100% of the <br /> funding of a transportation planning study to investigate the potential impact <br /> of Navy traffic on transportation corridors between the City of Everett and <br /> North and East Snohomish County. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THAT: <br /> Section 1: A Special Study and Planning Fund is hereby established as Fund <br /> 335, Program 985, entitled "Homeport/CBD Traffic Needs Study" to <br /> accumulate all of the costs for the study. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute <br /> payments from Fund 335, Program 985, for design and construction of <br /> the traffic signal improvements. <br /> Section 3: Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director" <br /> under the direction of the Mayor, to assume full and complete <br /> responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: The Sum of $80,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 335, Program 985, <br /> "Homeport/CBD Traffic Needs Study" as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs <br /> Consultant Fee $73,000 <br /> State Services 2,000 <br /> Purchased Employment Data 3,050 <br /> Miscellaneous Costs 1,950 <br /> Total Estimated Cost Fund 335 $80,000 <br />
