ORDINANCE NO. /441.07-17 AN ORDINANCE amending Sections 3 and 4 of Ordinance No. 1450-88 increasing the total estimated cost and appropriation for the special construction fund entitled "Kasch Park Construction" Fund 316, Authorizing the design and construction of improvements at Kasch Park. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1450-88 was created to fund the construction at Kasch Park following the tax increase approved by City Council; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1450-88 included funding for construction and other miscellaneous charges need to be included; and WHEREAS, the project consultant, Wilsey and Ham has designed facilities for Kasch Park outlining what Phase I construction consists of; and WHEREAS, based upon the consultant's work, there is a need to adjust the total estimated cost and appropriation; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 1450-88 which reads as follows: The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is $2,000,000 which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is $2,794,572 which shall include all costs related to design, construction, contract administration, plan development and associated costs. Section 2: That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1450-88 which reads as follows: A. The sum of $2,000,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 316 Program 945 "Kasch Park Construction". B. Source of Funds: 1. CIP Revenue be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: A. The sum of $2,794,572 is hereby appropriated to Fund 316 Program 945 "Kasch Park Construction". B. Source of Funds: 1. CIP Revenue Section 3: That the City Treasurer of the City of Everett is hereby authorized to establish an interfund loan not to exceed $2,794,572 Section 4: That Ordinance No., 1450-88 is hereby amended by the addition of the following:
