1 ORDINANCE NO. , //-4/472 <br /> 2 <br /> AN ORDINANCE repealing Section 4(D) of Ordinance No. 1248-86, the <br /> 3 required exits amendment to the Uniform Building Code. <br /> 4 <br /> 5 THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> 6 Section 1 : That Section 4(D) of Ordinance No. 1248-86 (E.M.C. <br /> 7 16.01 .060) which reads as follows: <br /> 8 <br /> Section 1204 of the 1985 Edition of the UBC is hereby amended by <br /> 9 the addition of the following language: <br /> 10 Every dwelling unit or every sleeping room or portion thereof in <br /> any story which is 12 feet or more above grade as defined herein <br /> 11 and having an occupant load of 10 or more shall have access to <br /> the number of exits as required in Section 3303 for floors above <br /> 12 the first floor. <br /> 13 Every dwelling unit or every sleeping room or portion thereof in <br /> any story, which is 12 feet or more above grade as defined herein <br /> 14 and having an occupant load of less than 10, shall have access to <br /> two exits. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> 17 <br /> ,i <br /> 18 -� ,D. <br /> '�' .
