ORDINANCE NO. /��C'/-'O x <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special construction <br /> fund entitled "Walter E. Hall Park Construction" <br /> Fund 314, Authorizing the design and <br /> construction of improvements at Walter E. Hall Park. <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett Parks and Recreation Department developed a <br /> Capital Improvement Program outlining the recreational needs of the City of <br /> Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, a need exists to provide soccer and miscellaneous park facilities <br /> for the citizens of Everett; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Everett City Council approved a revenue funding source for <br /> CIP projects: <br /> WHEREAS, Walter E. Hall Park has been designated as a site to include <br /> soccer and miscellaneous park facilities: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EVERETT CITY COUNCIL THAT: <br /> Section 1: A special construction fund is hereby established as Fund 314, <br /> entitled "Walter E. Hall Park Construction" to accomplish the <br /> actions authorized in subsequent sections of this ordinance. <br /> Section 2: Authorization is hereby granted to the Director of Parks and <br /> Recreation under the administration of the Mayor to design and <br /> construct improvements to Walter E. Hall Park including 3 turf <br /> soccer fields, restrooms, playgrounds, parking and other <br /> miscellaneous site improvements as determined by the Director of <br /> Parks and Recreation. <br /> Section 3: The total estimated cost of the improvements authorized is <br /> $500,000 which shall include all costs related to design, <br /> construction, contract administration, plan development and <br /> associated costs. <br /> Section 4: A. The sum of $500,000 is hereby appropriated to Fund 314 <br /> Program 944 "Walter E. Hall Park Construction". <br /> B. Source of Funds: <br /> 1.
