ORDINANCE NO. / '-/ L -ff AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) to encompass Mukilteo School District No. 6 property located north of 100th Street S.W. and including the Sno-Isle Vocational Skills Center, Explorer Junior High School, Challenger Elementary School, and the School District Administrative Center Facilities REZONE #90-87 WHEREAS, the City Council finds that on October 20, 1987, the City of Everett Planning Commission held a public hearing regarding the estabvlishment of a zoning designation for the herinafter described property �II annexed to the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council, after hearing the recommendations of the Planning Commission, has determined that said property should be zoned R-S, Single Family Suburban Residential; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth is in the best interest of the City of Everett and meets the purpose of the Comprehensive Plan as amended by Resolution No. GI 7� • Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Section 4 of Ordinance No. 3572, as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) is hereby amended by the addition of the following: Zoned R-S: (Sno-Isle Vocational Skills Center) That portion of the Northwest Quarter of Section 14, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , described as follows: BEGINNING at the South quarter corner of said Section 14; THENCE, North 00° 54' 45" West along the center section line a distance of 2639.48 feet to the center of said section; THENCE, North 00° 55' 36" West along said center section line a distance of 1316.37 feet to the Northeast corner of the South half of the Northwest quarter; THENCE, North 89° 48' 49" West along the North line of the South half of the Northwest quarter a distance of 2636.25 feet to the West line of said section; THENCE, South 00° 53' 34" East along said West section line a distance of 100.02 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE, continue on last bearing along said West section line a distance of 914.36 feet; THENCE, South 89° 48' 49" East a distance of 1191.21 feet; THENCE, North 00° 53' 34" West a distance of 914.36 feet; THENCE, North 89° 48' 49" East a distance of 1191.21 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.
