r <br /> 4 '2 �r <br /> ORDINANCE NO. /154& -ger <br /> An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the <br /> City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 <br /> as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), <br /> rezoning the area generally described as south of <br /> the Plat of Kenilworth Hills No. 1, west of Powder <br /> Mill Gulch, north of Seaway Boulevard, and east <br /> of the Paine Field main runway centerline, from <br /> R-S Residential Suburban to M-M Medium Manufacturing <br /> with a concomitant agreement. <br /> WHEREAS, on June 16, 1986 the City of Everett received an application <br /> for a Comprehensive General Plan amendment and rezone of an area generally <br /> described as south of the Plat of Kenilworth Hills No. 1, west of Powder <br /> Mill Gulch, north of Seaway Boulevard, and east of the Paine Field main <br /> runway centerline, requesting a change in the Comprehensive General Plan <br /> from Single Family Attached Residential to Office and Industrial Park and a <br /> change in the zoning from R-S Residential Suburban to M-M Medium <br /> Manufacturing with a concomitant agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, on August 26, 1986, March 17, 1987, April 7, 1987, April 28, <br /> 1987, May 26, 1987, July 7, 1987, and September 15, 1987 the Everett <br /> Planning Commission held public hearings and meetings on the proposed <br /> Comprehensive General Plan amendment and rezone, and <br /> WHEREAS, based upon the findings contained in the Planning Commission <br /> Report to City Council dated July 7, 1987, attached hereto as Exhibit 3 and <br /> incorporated herein by reference, the Planning Commission did recommend <br /> approval of an amendment and rezone; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed zoning is consistent with the Comprehensive <br /> General Plan Amendment approved by City Council on January 27, 1988 • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth for the property legally described and <br /> generally shown on the map in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated <br /> herein by reference, bears a substantial relationship to the general welfare <br /> of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive General <br /> Plan as amended. <br />
