r 4 '2 �r ORDINANCE NO. /154& -ger An Ordinance amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), rezoning the area generally described as south of the Plat of Kenilworth Hills No. 1, west of Powder Mill Gulch, north of Seaway Boulevard, and east of the Paine Field main runway centerline, from R-S Residential Suburban to M-M Medium Manufacturing with a concomitant agreement. WHEREAS, on June 16, 1986 the City of Everett received an application for a Comprehensive General Plan amendment and rezone of an area generally described as south of the Plat of Kenilworth Hills No. 1, west of Powder Mill Gulch, north of Seaway Boulevard, and east of the Paine Field main runway centerline, requesting a change in the Comprehensive General Plan from Single Family Attached Residential to Office and Industrial Park and a change in the zoning from R-S Residential Suburban to M-M Medium Manufacturing with a concomitant agreement; and WHEREAS, on August 26, 1986, March 17, 1987, April 7, 1987, April 28, 1987, May 26, 1987, July 7, 1987, and September 15, 1987 the Everett Planning Commission held public hearings and meetings on the proposed Comprehensive General Plan amendment and rezone, and WHEREAS, based upon the findings contained in the Planning Commission Report to City Council dated July 7, 1987, attached hereto as Exhibit 3 and incorporated herein by reference, the Planning Commission did recommend approval of an amendment and rezone; and WHEREAS, the proposed zoning is consistent with the Comprehensive General Plan Amendment approved by City Council on January 27, 1988 • NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth for the property legally described and generally shown on the map in Exhibit 1, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, bears a substantial relationship to the general welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive General Plan as amended.
