ORDINANCE NO. /37,c7-J% -7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as <br /> provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett <br /> Municipal code) rezoning the area generally described as <br /> east of 4th Ave. W. and north of Everett Mall Way <br /> from R.S., Single Family Suburban Residential <br /> to C-1, General Commercial. <br /> WHEREAS, on August 27, 1987, the City of Everett Land Use Hearing <br /> Examiner held a public hearing regarding the hereinafter described property <br /> from R.S. , Single Family Suburban Residential to C-1, General Commercial; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said property should be <br /> rezoned and zoned C-1, General Commercial; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the general <br /> welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Ordinance No.3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal <br /> Code,) is hereby amended from R.S. , Single Family Suburban Residential Zone <br /> to C-1, General Commercial for the following described property: <br /> That portion of the West 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of <br /> the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 28 North, <br /> Range 4 East, W.M. , Snohomish County, Washington, <br /> described as follows: <br /> COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said <br /> subdivision; thence N 89°25'32" E along the north <br /> line thereof 150.00 feet; thence S 0°32'10" E, <br /> parallel with the West line of said subdivision, <br /> 434.70 feet to intersect a line parallel with and <br /> 200.00 feet Northerly of the centerline of Everett <br /> Mall Way; thence S 68°13'25" W along said parallel <br /> line 47.82 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence <br /> continuing S 68°13'25" W along said parallel line <br /> 74.49 feet to the East line of the West 36.00 feet <br /> of said subdivision and the East line of that <br /> certain strip of land conveyed to the City of <br /> Everett for 4th Avenue W. by deed recorded under <br /> Auditor's File No. 8605290170, Records of said <br /> County; thence N 0°32'10" W along said East line <br /> 26.94 feet to the South line of the North 452.00 <br /> feet of said subdivision; thence N 89°25'32" E <br /> along said South line 69.43 feet to the POINT OF <br /> BEGINNING. <br />
