• • ORDINANCE NO. / '7 -17 AN ORDINANCE of the City of Everett, Washington, relating to Local Improvement District No . 726 ; authorizing the issuance and sale of local improve- ment district bond anticipation notes pending the receipt of the proceeds of the local improvement district bonds authorized to be issued by Ordinance No . 1324-87; and providing for the sale and delivery of such notes to Harper, McLean & Company, Seattle, Washington. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No . 1324-87 passed by the City Council on January 14 , 1987, and approved by the Mayor on January 15, 1987 , the City ordered the improvement of a portion of the City by the acquisition of property and the construction of arterial street improvements and utility improvements of 60th Street S.W. and Hardeson Road, with complete standard arterial street system improvements , including curbs , gutters , sidewalks , street lighting, complete standard water system improvements and complete standard sanitary gravity sewer system improvements , a lift station and a force main, and necessary appurtenances , within the City, all pursuant to Resolution No . 2799 adopted December 17 , 1986, and, after a public hearing thereon, estab- lished Local Improvement District No . 726 , provided that payment for the improvement be made in part by special assessments upon the property in the district payable by the mode of "payment by bonds" and provided for the issuance and sale of local improve- ment district warrants or other short-term obligations redeem- able by cash and/or by local improvement district bonds ; and
