FINDINGS AND DECISION <br /> OF THE HEARING EXAMINER OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT <br /> THE FOLLOWING IS THE AMENDED DECISION <br /> THAT REPLACES THE JUNE 29, 2016, DECISION <br /> ISSUED IN THIS MATTER <br /> IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION <br /> OF PAM KEPFORD FOR APPROVAL OF VA.RIANCE #16-003 <br /> A VARIANCE <br /> SUMMARY OF DECISION: A variance from the R-1 zone side yard <br /> setback Development Standards, as set forth <br /> in Table 6.1 of EMC 19.6, is granted. The <br /> Applicant is allowed a variance from the <br /> minimum side yard setback standards to <br /> rebuild a carport as a one-car garage with an <br /> attached garden shed on property at 5621 <br /> Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA. The side <br /> yard setback shall be three inches. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Pam Kepford (Applicant), 5621 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, Washington (subject <br /> property), requested approval of a variance from the Development Standards Table 6.1 <br /> of the Everett Municipal Code (EMC) Chapter 19.6. Specifically, the Applicant seeks a <br /> variance from the minimum side yard setback standards of five feet. <br /> A hearing on the request was held before the Hearing Examiner of the City of Everett on <br /> June 16, 2016.
