PROJECT SWPPP � • JUNE 16, 2017 <br /> HORIZON ELEMENTARY- ENTRANCE REVISION <br /> IVIR 2: SWPPP NARRATIVE <br /> This SWPPP Narrative has been prepared for the proposed entrance revision at <br /> Horizon Elementary, 222 West Casino Road. The entrance along W Casino Road will <br /> receive larger radii to allow for the ingress and egress of buses. <br /> The construction site has the following characteristics: <br /> Tax Parcel: 28041300102100 <br /> New and Replaced Impervious: 1,360 sf <br /> Disturbed Area: 1,700 sf <br /> Soil Type: Alderwood-Urban <br /> Average slope: 1-2% <br /> Critical Areas: None. <br /> Grading Summary: Cut: 20 cy <br /> Fill: 10 cy <br /> 1. CONSTRUCTION STORMWATER POLLUTION PREVENTION ELEMENTS <br /> The 13 elements are discussed as follows: <br /> Element #1: Mark Clearing Limits <br /> The construction plans delineate the clearing limits in vegetated areas and they <br /> will be marked in the field prior to construction. <br /> BMP C101, Preserving Natural Vegetation <br /> Element #2: Establish Construction Access <br /> The project is too small for a temporary construction entrance. Work will be <br /> performed during the summer break and will utilize the existing access. BMP <br /> C107 will be used as base rock for the new paving is placed. <br /> Element #3: Control Flow Rates <br /> There is no need to control flow rates based on the size of the project. <br /> Element #4: Install Sediment Controls <br /> Sediment controls and their installation are discussed and located on the project <br /> plans and in Minimum Requirement #3 in this report.
