Vision and Membership. The Alliance has developed a robust visioning and planning
process which has captured the engagement of a broad array of community
organizations and individuals. To date 49 organizations, individuals and businesses have
become dues paying members of the Alliance.
2. Organization and Mission. The Alliance has established itself as a nonprofit corporation
with the mission of fostering community development in the Everett Station District. It
has a Board of key stakeholders representing diverse constituencies.
3. Public-Private Partnership. The Alliance has created the organizational basis and
environment for a collaborative public-private partnership toward important initiatives
which can foster neighborhood transformation.
The Everett Station District needs a master plan for development. The Alliance is prepared to
work with the City toward a thoughtful and strategic development plan.
I look forward to presenting at the City Council meeting on Wednesday.
Attached items include:
• Vision Statement
• Membership List
• Development History Milestones
1127
