Replace with non-combustible framing materials above hood and 18" <br /> in all directions of the hood. You may use one of the clearance reduction <br /> methods in Table 308.6. Inspector will need to verify the non-combustible <br /> wall framing and the non-combustible overhead framing before you cover. <br /> 5079 IMC-A Type I Hood shall be installed with a clea�ance to <br /> combustibles of not less than 18 inches. Table 308.6 allows for a �eduction <br /> to the 18"clearance. <br /> 2) The grease duct wrap is not installed per the manufacturer's specs. <br /> Remove the wrap and call for a light test inspection before you re-install the <br /> 3M Wrap. Remove the spray foam around the grease duct wrap at the roof <br /> level. After the light test inspection you can re-install the fire wrap following <br /> the manufacturer's instructions. Please call for inspection of the fire wrap. <br /> 3) Install hangers on the make-up air. <br /> SI0.9 IMC—Ducts shall be supported at inte�vals not exceeding 1 D feet. <br /> Supports shall be const�uct�c�'of nonco�nUustible mater•ial. <br /> 4) Location of the fan is not code compliant. <br /> 506.3.13.3 IMC—Exhaust outlets shall be located not less than 10 feet <br /> ho�izontally fi�om pa��ts of the saine o� contiguous buildings, adjacent <br /> buildings and adjacent p�ope�ty lines and shall be located not less than 10 <br /> feet above the adjoining grade level. Exhaust outlets shall be located not less <br /> tltan 10 feet ho�izontally from o� not less than 3 feet above ai� intake <br /> openings into any building. <br /> Exception: Exhaust outlets shall te�minate not less than S feet horizontally <br /> from pa�ts of the same or� contiguous building, an adjacent building, <br /> adjacent prope�ty line and ai� intake openings into a building whe�e air <br /> f�orn the exhaust outlet discha�ges away f�om such locations. <br />
