Paul McKee in our office was diligent enough to do some research on your property last week. He found that there was a permit/approval for the existing garage to enter off of 14th St. We will honor that previous approval when considering the driveway for the new garage.The drivevvay coming off of 14th street would be approvable. However, we still need to do our usual permit review for the construction.This review will make considerations for driveway surfacing, building setbacks and building height, etc. We can discuss more on that later. I am working with Ed Olson of Pacitic Garages to replace the existing garage on my property with a new one. There were some issues concerning having the driveway exit onto 14th Street. As you can see fi-om the pictures the other 3 houses on the same intersection all have access to 14th. My cun•ent garage opens to 14th as well. If I had to enter the garage from the alley, not only would it be a very tight turn into the garage, I would also lose , f. i ' C
