Your system must be inspected/tested by a licensed fire protection contractor as defined in RCW 18.160 and Chapter 212-80, WAC. One copy of the test report, signed by the person performing the test, shall be maintained on site; a second copy shall be forwarded to the Everett Fire Marshal's Office located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue, Suite 7-A, Everett WA 98201-3629. IFC 907.8 Inspection, testing and maintenance Comments: Whenever required for compliance with the provisions of this code, devices, equipment, systems, conditions, arrangements, levels of protection or other features shall thereafter be continuously maintained in accordance with applicable NFPA requirements or as directed by the fire code official. Fire Code Inspections are based on Everett Municipal (EMC) Code Chapter 16.03 FIRE CODE which adopts the requirements of the current International Fire Code (IFC) as well as state and local amendments to it. Accordingly, enforcement action under the Everett Municipal Code may result from not remedying the violation(s). A copy of the Everett Building and Fire Codes are available for viewing at the City Clerk's office. This notice is an action of the Fire Code Official for purposes of EMC 16.64.030, which establishes a procedure for requesting the Board of Review to authorize compliance with the Everett Fire Code through the use of suitable alternative materials, alternative types and methods of construction, and a proposed equivalent method of protection or safety. The Board of Review does not have the authority to waive requirements of the Everett Fire Code but may authorize a plan for phasing in compliance. A request for a determination by the Board must be filed with the City Clerk within 30 days of the date of receipt of this notice. The Board has _�� ��
