This memo outlines the minimum
requirements for this small size project and summaries how these requirements are
met.
Minimum Requirement#2: Construction Stormwater Pollution Prevention
This project has a total land disturbing activity of less than one acre. Based on the
project size, the "Small Parcel Requirements" apply to this project.
A Temporary Erosion Control Plan has been prepared for this project. Erosion and
sediment control BMPs have been integrated into the plan.
Minimum Requirement#3: Source Control of Pollution
No potential pollution sources are identified in this project.
Minimum Requirement #4: Preservation of Natural Drainage Systems and
Outfalls
This project will discharge directly into the City of Everett's combined sewer
system.
Minimum Requirement#5: On-site Stormwater Management
Bioretention cells will be constructed to encourage intiltration of Stormwater runoff
from the site.
Minimum Requirement #6: Runoff Treatment
According to the Public Works Director Interim Policy, Runoff Treatment is not
required for this project because the project is located in the combined sewer area.
Minimum Requirement #7: Flow Control
According to the Public Work Director Interim Policy Flow Control is not required
far this project. The existing site conditions are building roof and paved parking lot
(100% impervious area). The proposed project is replacing these impervious with
new paving and landscaping areas. In other word, the proposed project will reduce
impervious areas on site. Thus, the project will decrease storm runoff peak flows
and reduce the impact to the existing combined sewer system.
H:A21 Cp\1\018 EvCC College Plara Suitc B Demo&Parking Lot\Hdraulics\Drainage Memo 0731 I.doc
;
( v" '
\_
