ORDINANCE NO. /36/ -4'7 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of <br /> the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance <br /> No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett <br /> Municipal code) rezoning the area generally <br /> described as a portion of Tract 14, Beverly <br /> Garden Tracts, Division No. 1 from R-4, Multiple <br /> Family High Density to C-1, General Commercial. <br /> WHEREAS, on April 23, 1987, the City of Everett Land Use Hearing <br /> Examiner held a public hearing regarding the hereinafter described property <br /> from R-4, Multiple Family High Density Residential to C-1, General <br /> Commercial; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said property should be <br /> rezoned and zoned C-1 , General Commercial; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the general <br /> welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal <br /> Code), is hereby amended from R-4, Multiple Family High Density Residential <br /> Zone to C-1 , General Commercial for the following described property: <br /> That portion of Tract 14, Beverly Garden Tracts, Division No. <br /> 1, according to the plat thereof recorded in Volume 10 of <br /> Plats, Page 1, records of Snohomish County, Washington <br /> described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the east quarter corner of Section 13, Township <br /> 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. in Snohomish County, Washington; <br /> thence S89°01 '30"W 142.11 feet to the southeast corner of <br /> said Tract 14; thence N44°55'00"W along the common line <br /> between Tracts 14 and 15, a distance of 915.82 feet to the <br /> TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N44°55'00"W 1.50 feet; <br /> thence S45°05'00"W 212.99 feet to the common line between <br /> Tracts 13 and 14; thence S44°55'00"E along said common line <br /> 1.50 feet to a point which bears S45°05'00"W from the TRUE <br /> POINT OF BEGINNING; thence N45°05'00"E 212.99 feet to the <br /> TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING. <br /> EXCEPT that portion conveyed to Snohomish County for roads by <br /> deed recorded under No. 483092. <br />
