 ScC C c2 -- o0 3
Cindy Bergsma v -- (Q
From: susan leggett <susanleggettl@hotmail.com>
Sent: Monday, lune 05, 2017 10:14 AM
To: Engineering/ Public Services
Cc: susan leggett
Subject: Residential Permit extension
Hello there,
I live at 1506 Baker Ave. Everett, Wa 98201 and current have permits open for a remodel. My contractor Cecile (Zeke)
Farnsworth of Cascade Builders is no longer on my job due to a huge error he made to my garage door opening. He
removed my 9' garage door, poured new foundation for the remodel and left me with a 7'7"garage door opening. He
told me that the "engineer" told him he had to make it smaller. I came to the city and the guy that redlines the drawings
said that no one in the city told him that...and so I went to the folks that did the lateral paperwork...they too said they
did not ever say such a thing. I am trying to figure out who did the gravity paperwork to check with them as well...but
am having a difficult time trying to track down who that might be. If you know...could you please tell me?
I am writing to ask you to extend my permits for 6 months as I am unable to find a willing licensed and bonded
contractor to pick up where Mr. Farnsworth left off. There are too many errors and small projects left for a licensed and
bonded contractor at this time of the year. I will need to get it done by myself. I understand that I will be responsible
for getting all work inspected going forward.
I do have one other question. I have the roughed in plumbing and lighting signed off by the city. Do I need an electrical
permit to attach the fixtures and the outlets? I did not pay for that permit...the electrician did.
Thank you so much for your help.

Susan Leggett
425-252-7736 (home phone)
Extention granted until 2 - —
P►ease be advised if no progress made
after this date, additional fees may be
owed. Thank you.
