The CL shall have authority to act on behalf of the contractor or developer and shall be <br /> availabi n call, 24 hours per day throughout the period of construction. <br /> 2. The GSW shall include the name, telephone number, fax nwnber, and address of the <br /> designated CE L. <br /> 3. A CESCL may pr 'de inspection and compliance services for multiple construction projects in <br /> � the same geographic ion. <br /> Duties and responsibilities of the SCL shall include, but are not limited to the following: <br /> � 1. Maintaining per�nit file on s� at all times which includes the C-SWPPP and any associated <br /> � permits and plans. <br /> 2. Directing BMP installation, inspec , maintenance, modification, and removal. <br /> 3. Updating all project drawings and the WPPP with changes made. <br /> 4. Keeping daily records and inspection repo lnspection reports should include: <br /> a. Inspection date/time. <br /> b. Weather information; general conditions ring inspection and approximate amount of <br /> precipitation since the last inspection. <br /> c. Locations of BMPs inspected <br /> d. Locations of BMPs that need maintenance <br /> e. Locations of BMPs that failed to operate as designed o � tended, and <br /> f. Locations of where additional or different BMPs are requir . <br /> g. Visual monitoring results, including a description of discharge tormwater. The <br /> presence of suspended sediment, turbid water, discoloration, and ' sheen shall be <br /> noted, as applicable. <br /> � h. Any water quality monitoring performed during inspection. <br /> � i. General comments and notes, including a brief description of any BMP rep , <br /> maintenance or installations made as a result of the inspection. <br /> - 5. Facilitating,participating in, and taking corrective actions resulting from inspections perfo ed <br /> by outside agencies or the owner. <br /> 3.2.22 BMP C161: Payment of Erosion Control Work <br /> Purpose <br /> As with any construction operation, the contractor should be paid for erosion control work. Payment for <br /> erosion control must be addressed during project development and design.
