• # <br /> 18. Floors and sub-floors at or above grade in buildings (other ihan parking garages) shall be marked with <br /> numbers, in ascending order, beginning with the number"1" (for the ground floor or first floor),then <br /> "2", "3", etc. Letters shall be used only to designate specific areas as detailed below. <br /> Floors below grade in buildings (other than parking garages) shall be marked with the letter"B" (when <br /> there is only one floor below grade). When there is more than one floor below grade, they shall be <br /> marked with the letter"B" followed by nurnbers, in descending order, beginning with the number"1" <br /> (for the floor immediately below the ground floor or first floor), then "2", "3", etc. Example—`B 1", <br /> "B2", "B3", in descending order. <br /> Mezzanines shall be marked with the letter"M". When there is more than one mezzanine, they shall be <br /> marked with the letter "M" followed by numbers, in ascending order. Example—"M 1", "M2", etc. <br /> 19. A floor map shall be included at each stair landing (11" x 17" size) and at each elevator landing (16" x <br /> 20" size) showing the layout and room numbering of the floor. <br /> 20. All fire alarm control panels (FACP) and sprinkler valves shall be in heated rooms or closets with <br /> standard man door access. Locations shall be approved by the Fire Code Official (NFPA 13 8.16.4.1.3). <br /> 21. Buildings or poi�tions of buildings or facilities exceeding 30 feet in height above the lowest level of fire <br /> department vehicle access shall be provided with approved fire apparatus access roads capable of <br /> accommodating fire department aerial apparatus. Overhead utility and power lines shall not be <br /> located within the aerial fire apparatus access roadway. See 2012 Ir'C, Appendix D, D105.1 and <br /> D105.4. <br /> 22. Fire apparatus roads shall have a minimum unobstructed width of 26 feet in the immediate vicinity of any <br /> building or portion of building mare than 30 feet in height. At least one of the required access routes <br /> shall be located within a minimum of 15 feet and a maximum of 30 feet from the buildin� and shall <br /> be positioned parallel to one entire side of the buildin�. See 2012 IFC, Appendix D, D105.3. <br /> 23. Where elevators are provided in buildings, at least one elevator shall be provided for fire department <br /> emergency access to all floors. The elevator car shall be of such a size and arrangement to accommodate <br /> a 24-inch by 84-inch ainbulance stretcher in the horizontal, open position and shall be identified by the <br /> international symbol for emergency medical services (star of life). The symbol shall not be less than 3 <br /> inches high and shall be placed inside on both sides of the hoistway door frame. <br /> Exception: If all stories within the building have direct, accessible egress to grade (EMC 16.01, Section <br /> I,; IBC 3002.4, 2012 Edition). <br /> 24. A building footprint and lot layout for this project shall be provided to the Fire Marshal's OfFice on <br /> CD/DVD. <br /> Snohomish County PUD Comments—Mark A. Oens—425.783.4300 <br /> 1. The District presently has sufficient electrical system capacity to serve the proposed development. <br /> However, the existing District facilities in the local area may require upgrading. Any relocation or <br /> removal of District facilities to accommodate this project shall be at the expense of the project `` <br /> developer.
