• • ORDINANCE NO. / 8/6 —Y6 AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) rezoning the area generally described as directly south 100th St. S.W. Between 4th Ave. W. and 1st P1. from Suburban Residential (R.S.) to General Commercial (C-1) . WHEREAS, on November 16, 1986, the City of Everett Hearing Examiner held a public hearing regarding the rezone of the hereinafter described property from Suburban Residential (R.S.) to General Commercial (C-1); and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said property should be rezoned and zoned General Commercial (C-1); NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1 : That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning change hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the general welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan. Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code), is hereby amended from Suburban Residential (R.S. ) to General Commercial (C-1), subject to the described parcel: That portion of the West one-half of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 28 North, Range 4 East, W.M. , Snohomish County, Washington, described as follows: COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said subdivision; thence N 89°25'32" E along the North line thereof 248.54 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; thence continuing N 89°25'32" E along said line 412.80 feet to the Northeast corner of said subdivision; thence S 0°37'53" E along the East line of said subdivision 236. 14 to intersect a line 200.00 feet Northwesterly, as measured perpendi- cular, from the centerline of Everett Mall Way; said line being 150.00 feet Northwesterly of the Northwest margin of Everett Mall Way; thence S 68°13'25" W along said line 443.31 feet; thence N 0°32' 10" W parallel with the West margin of said subdivision 396.47 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
