• <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. / 8/6 —Y6 <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as <br /> provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett <br /> Municipal Code) rezoning the area generally described as <br /> directly south 100th St. S.W. Between 4th Ave. W. and <br /> 1st P1. from Suburban Residential (R.S.) <br /> to General Commercial (C-1) . <br /> WHEREAS, on November 16, 1986, the City of Everett Hearing Examiner <br /> held a public hearing regarding the rezone of the hereinafter described <br /> property from Suburban Residential (R.S.) to General Commercial (C-1); and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said property should be <br /> rezoned and zoned General Commercial (C-1); <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the general <br /> welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as <br /> established by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal <br /> Code), is hereby amended from Suburban Residential (R.S. ) to General <br /> Commercial (C-1), subject to the described parcel: <br /> That portion of the West one-half of the Northwest <br /> 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 24, Township 28 <br /> North, Range 4 East, W.M. , Snohomish County, <br /> Washington, described as follows: <br /> COMMENCING at the Northwest corner of said <br /> subdivision; thence N 89°25'32" E along the North <br /> line thereof 248.54 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING; <br /> thence continuing N 89°25'32" E along said line <br /> 412.80 feet to the Northeast corner of said <br /> subdivision; thence S 0°37'53" E along the East <br /> line of said subdivision 236. 14 to intersect a line <br /> 200.00 feet Northwesterly, as measured perpendi- <br /> cular, from the centerline of Everett Mall Way; said <br /> line being 150.00 feet Northwesterly of the <br /> Northwest margin of Everett Mall Way; thence S <br /> 68°13'25" W along said line 443.31 feet; thence N <br /> 0°32' 10" W parallel with the West margin of said <br /> subdivision 396.47 feet to the POINT OF BEGINNING. <br />
