I spoke with our Permit Services Mer who had previously had a conversation about this project with the Real
Property Manager. I am going to assign the project a public works permit number, process it for you, and will let you
know when it is ready for issuance. Permit issuance is required in person. This permit should be available for you by
tomorrow. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Sabrina Fandler, EIT, LEEDAP BD+C
City of Everett Public Works Department Development Technician
3200 Cedar St, Everett, WA 98201
Office: 425-257-8810
Direct: 425-257-7813
Email: SFandler(aeverettwa.qov
 PY/BL/L WDIIC3
v.:'Sr
The Permit Services Counter is located on the 2"d Floor.
Hours of Operation: Monday-Friday 7:30am-12:OOpm and 1:OOpm-4:OOpm.
All emails, and attachments, sent to and from City of Everett are public
records and may be subject to public disclosure pursuant to RCW 42.56.
From: Jim Voetberg [mailto:JimVCamukilteowwd.org]
Sent: Thursday, January 19, 2017 4:21 PM
To: Sabrina Fandler
Subject: RE: Public Works Permit Application
Sabrina,
This is a pretty straight forward project where MWWD is replacing our water main in Larmar Drive which is 99.999% in
the City of Mukilteo, except for this strange triangle piece of property that is owned by the City of Everett (see
attached). MWWD has applied for a City of Mukilteo permit and will be following their permitting requirements for
construction,traffic control, restoration, etc.
Since the project is within the City of Mukilteo corporate boundaries and the City of Mukilteo maintains Larmar Drive,
including the COE owned triangle piece of property, rather than get a City of Mukilteo permit for work in Lamar Drive
and a duplicate COE permit for crossing the triangle piece of property owned by the COE, is it possible for the COE to
defer to the City of Mukilteo for permitting purposes. As mentioned, we will be constructing, following traffic control
requirements, and repairing Lamar Drive to City of Mukilteo standards since they are in reality responsible for Lamar
Drive.
Thanks for your consideration,
Jim Voetberg, General Manager
Mukilteo Water and Wastewater District
From:Sabrina Fandler [mailto:SFandlerCeverettwa.ov]
Sent:Thursday,January 19, 2017 2:54 PM
To:Jim Voetberg<JimVCamukilteowwd.or>
Cc: Engineering/Public Services<everetteps@everettwa.ov>
Subject: RE: Public Works Permit Application
2
