8. SUMMARY
This project proposes to increase the amount of impervious surfaces from the existing
conditions by 1,833 sf. However, this project proposes to construct more than 2,000 sf of
new plus replaced impervious surfaces. As a result, the use and land cover for less than
5,000 sf of the site will either be converted from pervious to impervious surfaces, replaced
impervious surfaces or converted from impervious to pervious surfaces. On-site
stormwater management techniques have been incorporated into the design to mitigate
for this land conversion. In addition, based on the proposed improvements for the site
drainage design the post developed runoff from the site is expected to decrease slightly
from the existing system. Therefore, the stormwater design for this project has met or
exceeded all of the applicable Minimum Requirements 1-5.
Haack—Lexington Duplex 16-1112
January 2017 Page 10
