INTERGOVERNMENTAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this 3Q day of <br />0e-&-k&-) <br />, 1991, by and between the CITY OF SNOHOMISH, <br />WASHINGTON, a municipal corporation, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Snohomish," and the CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON, hereinafter <br />referred to as "Everett." <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, Everett and Snohomish maintain for the benefit of <br />the citizens of their respective jurisdictions organized and <br />standard bidding structure charged with the function of securing <br />the best purchase at the best possible price within the limits of <br />all appropriate bidding laws of the State of Washington; and <br />WHEREAS, it has been determined by each of the parties <br />hereto that it would be in the best interests of the citizens of <br />their respective jurisdictions and of mutual benefit to their <br />Public Works Departments if, in some circumstances, equipment be <br />purchased through a group bidding process; and <br />WHEREAS, the Snohomish Public Works Department desires to <br />enter into a Bidding/Purchasing Agreement, wherein Snohomish can <br />use the yearly bidding by Everett for equipment of mutual need <br />requirements, beginning with vehicle purchases for 1991/1992; and <br />WHEREAS, the parties hereto desire to set forth their <br />rights, duties and responsibilities with respect to applicable <br />laws, ordinances, and procedures as established by parties <br />hereto.
