• • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. is aUp-SZ <br /> AN ORDINANCE amending the Zoning Map of the City of Everett as <br /> provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett <br /> Municipal code) rezoning the area generally described as a <br /> portion of Lot 15, Blk. 4, Plat of Intercity Addition <br /> from R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential <br /> zone to C-1, General Commercial. <br /> WHEREAS, on April 18, 1985 and October 17, 1985, the City of Everett <br /> Land Use Hearing Examiner held public hearings regarding the rezone of the <br /> hereinafter described property from R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential <br /> zone to C-1 , General Commercial ; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that said property should be <br /> rezoned and zoned C-1 , General Commercial ; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1 : That the City Council does hereby find that the zoning <br /> change hereinafter set forth bears a substantial relationship to the general <br /> welfare of the City of Everett and is in conformance with the Comprehensive <br /> Plan. <br /> Section 2: That the Zoning Map of the City of Everett, as established <br /> by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett Municipal Code) , is hereby <br /> amended from R-1, Single Family Low Density Residential zone to C-1, General <br /> Commerical, on the following described parcel (See attached map): <br /> That portion of Lot 15, Block 4, Plat of <br /> Intercity Addition - Division No. 1, <br /> according to the plat thereof recorded in <br /> Volume 11 of Plats, page 9, records of the <br /> Auditor of the County of Snohomish, State of <br /> Washington, described as follows: <br /> Beginning at the Northwest corner of said Lot <br /> 15; thence South 77°08' East along the <br /> Northerly line of said Lot, 155 feet; thence <br /> Southerly to a point on the Southerly line of <br /> said lot that is South 67°59' East 200 feet <br /> from the Southwest corner of said Lot; thence <br /> North 67°59' West 200 feet to the Southwest <br /> corner of said Lot; thence North 31°40' <br /> East along the Westerly line of said Lot, 100 <br /> feet to the true point of beginning. <br /> Section 3: That the official map in the Planning Department of the <br /> City of Everett shall be amended as hereinabove provided, and said property <br /> shall be used in accordance with the zone in which the same is now <br /> established, as provided by Ordinance No. 3572 as amended (Title 19, Everett <br /> Municipal code). <br /> 1878F <br />
