i <br /> • <br /> ORDINANCE NO. l /-,Q, <br /> AN ORDINANCE annexing certain property generally located <br /> North of 112th Street SE between 3rd Place SE and I-5. <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.130, a petition was presented to <br /> the City Council of the City of Everett proposing the annexation of certain <br /> property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the petition which was filed pursuant to RCW 35.13. 130 was <br /> signed by owners of not less than seventy-five percent in value according to <br /> the assessed valuation for general taxes of the property proposed to be <br /> annexed; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Everett, a municipal corporation, <br /> did fix March 19, 1986 for a hearing upon said petition, and cause notice of <br /> hearing to be published in one issue of the Everett Herald, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the City, and caused said notice also to be posted in <br /> three places within the territory proposed for annexation, which notice as <br /> published and as posted specified the time and place of hearing and invited <br /> interested persons to appear and voice approval of the annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, following the hearing, the Council of the City of Everett, a <br /> municipal corporation, has determined to annex all of the property described <br /> in the petition as hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board did, at their <br /> January 14, 1986 public hearing, vote to approve the annexation; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Snohomish County Boundary Review Board has issued its <br /> written findings on February 7, 1986 to this effect. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: That the property hereinafter described, be, and the same <br /> is hereby annexed to the City of Everett: <br /> ALL THAT PORTION OF SECTION 19, TOWNSHIP 28 NORTH, RANGE 5 <br /> EAST, W.M. , DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> BEGINNING AT THE SOUTHEAST CORNER OF THE PLAT OF SILVER LAKE <br /> MANOR, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, RECORDED IN VOLUME 28 OF <br /> PLATS, PAGE 41 RECORDS OF SNOHOMISH COUNTY; THENCE, EAST ALONG <br /> THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF 112TH STREET S.E. (AKA STOCKSHOW <br /> ROAD) TO THE EAST LINE OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SAID SECTION <br /> 19; THENCE, NORTH ALONG SAID EAST LINE TO THE SOUTHEAST CORNER <br /> OF LOT 49, PLAT OF BROADWAY FARMS NO. 2, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT <br /> THEREOF, RECORDED IN VOLUME 16 OF PLATS, PAGE 14 RECORDS OF <br /> SNOHOMISH COUNTY; THENCE, WEST ALONG THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID LOT <br /> 49 AND LOT 50 TO THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF LOT 50; THENCE, NORTH <br /> ALONG THE WEST LINE OF SAID LOT 50 TO THE NORTHWEST CORNER <br /> THEREOF; THENCE, WEST ALONG THE NORTH LINE OF LOT 51 TO THE <br /> NORTHWEST CORNER THEREOF; THENCE, SOUTH ALONG WEST LINE OF SAID <br /> LOT 51 TO THE POINT OF INTERSECTION WITH THE EASTERLY PROJECTED <br /> NORTH LINE OF LOT 3 OF SAID PLAT OF BROADWAY FARMS NO. 2; <br /> THENCE, WEST ALONG THE EASTERLY PROJECTED NORTH LINE AND SAID <br />
