The scope of the work includes an evaluation of electrical system components that are candidates for <br /> upgrade and replacement in the Forest Park Swim Center;the provision of recommendations for work to be <br /> performed, design(including cost estimates), construction documents for bidding and permitting and <br /> construction administration and inspection. <br /> Salas O'Brien provided electrical design and construction engineering services in 2017 for the Forest Park <br /> Swim Center. Design work is nearly complete. Salas O'Brien will complete the design work and provide <br /> electrical construction administration and inspection services during 2018. Amendment No. 1 extends the <br /> completion date of the agreement to December 31, 2018 at no additional cost to the City. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Salas O'Brien <br /> to extend the completion date for electrical systems evaluation, design and construction engineering services <br /> for the Forest Park Swim Center at no additional cost to the City. <br /> 59 <br />
