June 29, Services <br /> 2016 <br /> Amount Budgeted -0- <br /> Expenditure Required -0- <br /> Budget Remaining -0- <br /> Additional Required -0- <br /> DETAILED SUMMARY STATEMENT: <br /> Based on the findings in the Everett Station Façade Water Intrusion Investigation Report prepared in March <br /> 2016, staff recommended that OAC Services, Inc.provide project and construction management assistance <br /> and oversight to complete repairs to the Everett Station façade. In July 2016,the City of Everett contracted <br /> OAC Services, Inc.to assist in developing the Scope of Work for repairs,help staff select a contractor to <br /> perform repairs,resolve project construction issues, oversee the contractor to ensure compliance with the <br /> Scope of Work and produce close-out documents in the form of a punch list for any uncompleted items. <br /> The restoration project was delayed and the Professional Services Agreement with OAC Services Inc. <br /> expired December 31,2017 with$25,071.99 remaining in the budget. The parties agreed to extend the <br /> agreement through December 31, 2018, at no additional cost to the City,to provide continued project <br /> oversight during the entire period of restoration and repair at Everett Station as evidenced in the proposed <br /> Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to the Professional Services Agreement between the City of <br /> Everett and OAC Services,Inc. for repairs to the Everett Station façade. <br /> 65 <br />
