The project will include parking for at least 80 additional vehicles and storage for up to 20 bicycles. A Professional Services Agreement in the amount of $249,892.00 with Perteet,Inc. is being proposed for the design of the Everett Station Park and Ride expansion. This project will result in complete design and construction documents sufficient for a competitive procurement of the construction phase. The project is the first step in meeting an agreement between the City of Everett and Sound Transit for the replacement of 80 parking spaces,repurposed to build the SWIFT Bus Rapid Transit terminal in 2009.A second grant of$500,000 will be available for spending in July 2019 for the construction phase of the project. RECOMIVIENDATION(Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement with Perteet,Inc. for Design of a Park and Ride Expansion at Everett Station in the amount of$249,892.00. 69
