Summarize the Three Principal Project Objectives: Repair the worn binding and damaged covers on the Sanborn maps • Re-encapsulate all pages of the Sanborn maps • •Retain the maps as a hands-on experience using primary sources 5. Cite examples of similar project-based work that has been successfully managed and/or administered. What project planning and preparation has been done? Project Impact. What is the intended impact of this project in the community? What lasting effect or contribution do you expect to generate through this project and how will you achieve it? What resources, programs or products will be developed as a result of project activities? The intended impact of this project is to allow the Northwest Room to continue to preserve and provide public access to their Sanborn Fire Insurance maps. C. Public Benefit and Access. How are you providing public benefit and access to the resources, programs, and products associated with the component of the project for which you are seeking funds? These maps are already accessible to the public and heavily used. If re-encapsulation work was not conducted, public access would need to be suspended until the work could be financed. D. Sharing the Benefit of your Project. How will your project be publicized and how will it raise awareness of Snohomish County's historical heritage?
