Lisa Labovitch spoke with Hal Gausman about <br /> these alterations in the application and received his approval. <br /> Summarize the Three Principal Project Objectives: <br /> Repair the worn binding and damaged covers on the Sanborn maps <br /> • <br /> Re-encapsulate all pages of the Sanborn maps <br /> • <br /> •Retain the maps as a hands-on experience using primary sources <br /> 5. APPLICATION REVIEW CRITERIA <br /> A. Qualifications and Project Quality. What are the qualifications and accomplishments of the project director, <br /> heritage specialists or other personnel? Cite examples of similar project-based work that has been successfully <br /> managed and/or administered. What project planning and preparation has been done? What professional standards <br /> or best practices are involved in developing the project and how will they be implemented? <br /> This section is not formatting properly-please see appendices. <br /> B. Project Impact. What is the intended impact of this project in the community? What lasting effect or contribution <br /> do you expect to generate through this project and how will you achieve it? What resources, programs or products will <br /> be developed as a result of project activities? <br /> The intended impact of this project is to allow the Northwest Room to continue to preserve and provide public <br /> access to their Sanborn Fire Insurance maps. <br /> C. Public Benefit and Access. How are you providing public benefit and access to the resources, programs, and <br /> products associated with the component of the project for which you are seeking funds? <br /> These maps are already accessible to the public and heavily used. If re-encapsulation work was not conducted, <br /> public access would need to be suspended until the work could be financed. <br /> D. Sharing the Benefit of your Project. How will your project be publicized and how will it raise awareness of <br /> Snohomish County's historical heritage? <br /> This section is not formatting properly-please see appendices. <br /> E. Past Snohomish County Support. List any prior County support(hotel/motel tax money, CDBG etc.) <br /> received during the past 3 years.
