Miscellaneous Voids: Install insulation in miscellaneous voids and cavity spaces where <br />required to prevent gaps in insulation using either of the following materials: <br />1. Loose -Fill Insulation: Use same product compacted to approximately 40 percent <br />of normal maximum volume. <br />2. Spray Polyurethane Insulation: Apply according to manufacturer's written <br />instructions. <br />3.4 PROTECTION <br />A. Protect installed insulation from damage due to harmful weather exposures, physical <br />abuse, and other causes. Provide temporary coverings or enclosures where insulation <br />is subject to abuse and cannot be concealed and protected by permanent construction <br />immediately after installation. <br />3.5 INSULATION SCHEDULE <br />A. Insulation Type: Unfaced, mineral -wool blanket insulation. <br />1. Location/Use: Acoustic insulation within framed interior partitions. <br />2. Location/Use: Thermal insulation in stud cavity between conditioned, enclosed <br />tower spaces and unconditioned high bay production. <br />B. Insulation Type: Compacted blanket insulation or polyurethane spray foam insulation. <br />1.
