40-27 BUILDING <br />INSULATED CORE METAL WALL PANELS I <br />BRPH ARCHITECTS -ENGINEERS, INC. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 MANUFACTURER <br />A. In other Part 2 articles where titles below introduce lists, the following requirements <br />apply for product selection: <br />Basis -of -Design Products: The design for each metal wall panel specified is <br />based on the product named. Subject to compliance with requirements, provide <br />either the named product or a comparable product that has been pre -approved <br />by the Architect prior to bidding. <br />2.2 INSULATED METAL WALL PANELS (Drawing Designation IMP-1) <br />A. General: Provide factory -formed and -assembled metal wall panels fabricated from <br />two metal facing sheets and insulation core foamed -in -place during fabrication with <br />joints between panels designed to form weathertight seals. Include accessories <br />required for weathertight installation. <br />B. Concealed -Fastener, Foamed -Insulation -Core Vertical Metal Wall Panels (Drawing <br />designation IMP-1): Concealed Fastener, Foamed -Insulation -Core Metal Wall Panels: <br />Factory -foamed structural wall panel consisting of ribbed exterior metal sheet and <br />interior metal sheet, bonded to modified isocyanurate core in thermally -separated <br />profile, with factory-gasketed double tongue -and -groove panel edges with field applied <br />snap -on battens, attached to supports using concealed fasteners. <br />Available Products: <br />a. Basis -of -Design: CENTRIA, Versapanel Insulated Core Metal Wall Panels. <br />Provide basis of design product, or comparable product approved by <br />Architect prior to bid. <br />2. Facings: Fabricate panel with exterior and interior facings of same material and <br />thickness. <br />a. Material: G-90 galvanized stucco embossed painted steel, minimum Grade <br />33 or AZ-50 Aluminum -Zinc stucco embossed painted steel, minimum <br />Grade 33, minimum thickness as required by engineering analysis, but not <br />less than 26 gage. <br />3. Exterior Facing Finish: Fluoropolymer Two -Coat System: 0.2-mil primer with <br />0.8-mil 70 percent PVDF fluoropolymer color coat, AAMA 621. <br />a. Color: Match adjacent existing facility 40-37. Custom color mix may be <br />required. <br />4. Interior Facing Finish: Polyester or Acrylic coating containing no silicone. <br />a.
