<br /> ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
<br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for the LEGION GOLF COURSE STORMWATER DETENTION
<br /> PROJECT will be received at the office of the City Clerk, 1 s`Floor Wall Street Building,2930 Wetmore,Everett,
<br /> Washington 98201,until 2:00 p.m.on January 9,2018.At the appointed time,all bids will be opened and publicly
<br /> read aloud in the 8th floor hearing room at the Wall Street Building. The engineer's estimate for this Project is
<br /> $3,400,000.
<br /> Work being performed includes,but is not limited to, furnishing all labor,materials and equipment necessary to
<br /> construct approximately 700LF of 36" diameter combined sewer pipe, 150LF of 12" diameter water main,
<br /> 2,000LF of storm drainage pipe ranging in size from 12" to 30" diameter, earthwork for 3 new storm water
<br /> detention ponds with membrane liners, manholes and flow control structures together with
<br /> restoration/construction of several golf holes including new tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers, and
<br /> otherwise performing all Work as required by the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Plans and Contract
<br /> Provisions.Golf course restoration/construction will require a Contractor with specialized golf course experience,
<br /> refer to the Supplemental Responsibility Criteria, Section 00 22 13, Supplemental Instructions to Bidders.

<br /> A Pre-Bid meeting and project site visit is scheduled for December 19, 2017 at 9 AM at Legion Memorial Golf
<br /> Course, 144 W Marine View Dr. Everett, WA 98201. A brief meeting will commence at the clubhouse at 9 AM
<br /> and subsequently,attendees may examine the site of the work on the golf course.
<br /> All bids must be made upon the regular forms provided for this purpose and must be accompanied by a bid bond
<br /> or certified check in an amount not less than five percent(5%) of the total amount of the Bid.
<br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities. No Bidder
<br /> may withdraw his Bid after the hour set for the opening thereof. The City further reserves the right to make the
<br /> bid award as deemed in the best interest of the City. The right is reserved by the City to postpone the award for a
<br /> period of forty-five(45)days after bid opening.
<br /> The Contractor will be required to comply with all local, State, and Federal laws and regulations pertaining to
<br /> equal employment opportunities.
