RESOLUTION No. 6571 <br /> A RESOLUTION for Expenditure of Neighborhood Project Funds <br /> WHEREAS,the neighborhood associations in Everett are composed of active residents who <br /> work many volunteer hours to improve the quality of life in our City: and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett's Office of Neighborhoods provides matching funds to support <br /> projects conducted by neighborhood associations to enhance city life and beautify our city; and <br /> WHEREAS, one Large Project Grant was recommended by City and citizen review teams for <br /> approval in November 2012; and <br /> WHEREAS, neighborhood residents and businesses have promised pledges of more than <br /> $ 17,195 to match the request of$9,760 in City funds; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Everett benefits from active resident involvement through <br /> neighborhood enhancement projects; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with the listed neighborhood <br /> association in the amount specified for the purpose stated: <br /> 1) Valley View-Sylvan Crest-Larimer Ridge Neighborhood Association—Valley View <br /> Commons - $9,760 <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor be authorized to execute a contract with the <br /> listed neighborhood association for expenses incurred for the above purposes, not to exceed the <br /> amount specified for the neighborhood association, between Dec 30, 2012 and Dec 30, 2013. <br /> dkilik■- <br /> C• cilmember IntroduciiResolution <br /> Passed and approved this19 day of Decemb- ,2012 <br /> ) (6 <br /> Counci = -si•ent <br />
