• <br /> tRE ALARM COMMUNICATOR <br /> NFPA72 (2013ed) 26.6.3.3.2 COMPLIANCE (CON'T): <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4—Transmission Channels: <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(a) <br /> The two-way RF transmission channel shall originate with a RAT at the protected premises and shall <br /> terminate at the RF receiving system of an RARSR or RASSR capable of receiving transmissions from such <br /> transmitting devices. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(a)—GSS Satisfaction:This is accomplished within the proprietary software of the <br /> manufacturer. RAT's for the network GSS owns are only programmed to communicate with GSS owned <br /> RARSR, RASSR or other RAT's.These units ignore or do not acknowledge other RARSR, RASSR, RAT's of <br /> networks not by GSS. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4—Transmission Channels: <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(b) <br /> A receiving network transmission channel shall terminate at an RARSR at one end and with either <br /> another RARSR or an RASSR at the other end. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(b)—GSS Satisfaction:See 26.6.3.3.2.1 and 26.6.3.3.2.4(a) <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4—Transmission Channels: <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(c) <br /> Operation of receiving network transmission channels shall conform to the requirements of this code <br /> whether channels are private facilities,such as microwave, or leased facilities furnished by a <br /> communications utility company. <br /> 26.6.3.3.2.4(c)—GSS Satisfaction:This requirement is met through UL testing of Guardian Security's <br /> Central Station. <br />
