I found a document in the microfiche files that indicates that the upstairs portion of the building(with the exception <br /> of a dormer room) is not approved to be used as occupied space.The document is a covenant dated October 1999 <br /> entered into by the current owner and the city. I do not have information about how the area is currently being used. <br /> 3. I located a permit(#C0010-012)for finishing the basement space into living space.This permit did NOT allow for a <br /> kitchen. <br /> 4.A fire sprinkler permit(#K0002-015)was issued October 2000. No inspections or approvals were recorded in our file <br /> systems.The status of this fire sprinkler system is not known. <br /> 5. I visited the property earlier this week, during the visit tenants spoke to me through the open basement door. It was built in 1912, but obviously has <br /> seen some considerable remodeling and I show no evidence of any permits. I have been inside and there are 2 <br /> separate levels with 2 full kitchens. It is currently being operated as a rooming house and has 9 tenants. I don't <br /> need a full inspection, I just want to cite him for work w/o permits.
