KirklandDynamics <br /> Butane Solvent(R600/R600a Refrigerant): <br /> nButane/ IsoButane Solvents used in this system are extremely flammable gases (NFPA 497 Group D <br /> Gas). This system has been designed to maintain a safe working environment per the applicable <br /> standards identified within this report as they pertain to the Closed-Loop Extraction system. Safe <br /> operation by trained persons to a standard operating procedure is followed at all times. Room <br /> temperature is kept at less than 75 degree's Fahrenheit at all times by use of constant ventilation and <br /> conditioning (where applicable). <br /> Butane—Flammability Index 4, Health Index 1,Stability Index 0 <br /> See Page 38 for Marking, Labeling and Warning signs. <br /> All Extractors include an Operating instruction manual which includes safe handling procedures, <br /> required training, maintenance information and other relevant safety information. <br /> NFPA 497 2012—Recommended Practice for the Classification of Flammable Liquids, Gases or Vapors <br /> and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas <br /> Butane is classified as a Group D Gas per NFPA 497 (Isobutane/nButane) <br /> The Classification of the Solvent and it's use within this manufacturing process fall under the below <br /> NFPA Classification <br /> 5.2.2 Division 2 Classified Locations <br /> Vessels containing liquid or liquefied hydrocarbons, may be released only under abnormal conditions. <br /> Vapor release only by leak which is considered abnormal.
