Everett <br /> WA came to me from the Everett Fire Marshals office. <br /> I conducted extensive research to determine if the apartment unit has ever received required Permitting, Inspection, or <br /> Occupancy approvals. I have been unable to locate any required approvals for this apartment unit. <br /> Because of the alteration of the structure without required permits and approvals and the creation and occupancy of <br /> the apartment, the building is an Unlawful Structure as defined by code. IPMC section 108.1.4 <br /> The Everett Planning Department should be contacted to determine if any options exist to have an apartment within this <br /> facility. The outcome of this consultation will help to clear the path for the next course of action as to the abatement of <br /> this violation. <br /> Planning Department personnel are available for consultation during business hours, Monday through Friday at the <br /> Everett Permit Services offices located at 3200 Cedar St. Everett WA. (425) 257-8810. <br /> The City cannot authorize occupancy of buildings without required approvals. <br /> The safety of the occupants of this apartment is of concern. <br /> Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. <br /> Regards <br /> 1 ^^ <br />
