Each Caucus Selects a Slate of Designated Alternates, in Priority Order. <br /> a. Each caucus shall select a slate of designated alternates in a number equal to <br /> the number of Governing Board seats allocated to that caucus. <br /> b. Each caucus shall prioritize its alternates to determine the order in which the <br /> alternates are called upon to participate at a Governing Board meeting in the <br /> event of an absence of any Governing Board member representing the caucus. <br /> Caucuses may determine their own rules for nominating and selecting Board <br /> Alternates, provided that the rules set forth in Step 3.a for selecting of Board <br /> Members shall apply. <br /> Vacancies <br /> Any vacancies shall be promptly filled by the appointing caucus, which shall meet either <br /> in person or telephonically to select a replacement Board Member and/or Alternate to <br /> serve the remainder of the vacant position's unexpired term. Such selection process shall <br /> be subject to the rules outlined in Step 3. <br /> B-4 <br />
