EVERETT PD CALLS FOR SERVICE January 1—September 30 **The following data should not be used to conclude that crime is higher around a methadone clinic, or that there is no impact on crime in areas surrounding a methadone clinic.** It is difficult to identify any specific crime patterns or impact the THS facility has on the surrounding community due to the unique characteristics of the site itself,as well as those of the surrounding neighborhood. For the purposes of this report,the following methodology was used: • An arbitrary address was selected as the center(for comparison locations). • A.25 mile radius was utilized to compare police calls for service (CFS) at the five locations. • Similar neighborhood characteristics were utilized in an attempt to identify sites similar to the neighborhood surrounding 9930 Evergreen Way (commercial, retail, multi-unit housing, hotel/motel,school nearby). A breakdown of both the officer and citizen-initiated calls for service in the .25 mile radius is provided in the tables below. Calls with a cancelled disposition were not included.
