7 <br /> 2. Amend the text of Chapter 2-Land Use Element of the 2015 Comprehensive Plan to add a <br /> text reference to a new Figure 6 Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map (Exhibit 1) and <br /> include a copy of the map in the Plan(Exhibit 3). <br /> 3. Amend the Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map to remove comprehensive plan <br /> designations for two areas outside the City of Everett Municipal Urban Growth Area as <br /> depicted in Exhibit 2. <br /> NOW,THEREFORE,THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN THAT THE <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TEXT AMENDMENT IS APPROVED FOR THE <br /> FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1: Chapter 2,Land Use Element attached hereto as Exhibit 1, amending Section 1 of <br /> Ordinance No. 2021-94, as amended(Comprehensive Plan),and which currently reads as <br /> follows: <br /> V. LAND USE MAP <br /> A. Map <br /> The Land Use Map of the Land Use Element is the official map designating the desired land use <br /> pattern for the Everett of the future. <br /> Is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> The Land Use Map (Figure 6) of the Land Use Element is the official map designating the <br /> desired land use pattern for the Everett of the future. <br /> Section 2: The comprehensive plan designations for two areas located outside the City of <br /> Everett's Municipal Urban Growth Area attached hereto as Exhibit 2 are hereby removed. <br /> Section 3: The Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map is amended to include the corrections <br /> described in Section 2 and a copy of the map as a new Figure 6 in the Land Use Element <br /> attached hereto as Exhibit 3b. <br /> Section 4: Incorporation. <br /> Exhibits 1,2 and 3b are hereby made part of this approval and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> Section 5: Severability. <br /> Should any section,paragraph, clause or phrase of this Ordinance, or its application to any <br /> person or circumstance,be declared unconstitutional or otherwise invalid for any reason, or <br /> should any portion of this Ordinance be pre-empted by state or federal law or regulations,this <br /> 36 - 3 - <br />
