February 24, 2016 <br /> BID AWARD — CITYWIDE SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS AND PACIFIC <br /> AVENUE AND BROADWAY SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> Moved by Council Member Roberts, seconded by Council Member <br /> Moore, to award the bid for the Citywide Safety Improvements and <br /> Pacific Avenue and Broadway Safety Improvements to Ariston <br /> Pacific, Inc. in the amount of $1,062,314.79 including Washington <br /> State sales tax. <br /> Council Member Bader expressed concern about pedestrian safety near <br /> the bus stop located at 34th Street and Broadway. <br /> Dave Davis, Public Works, stated he would pass this information on to <br /> City Engineer Ryan Sass. <br /> Council Member Tuohy inquired about the process for handling concerns <br /> from citizens relating to pedestrian safety. <br /> Dave Davis stated inquiries should be forwarded to the Public Works <br /> Department. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br /> Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> COUNCIL BILL 1602-05 <br /> THIRD AND FINAL READING: <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a Special Construction Fund entitled <br /> "Duplex — Phone and Data Room Remodel Project," Fund 342, <br /> Program 021, authorizing the design and remodel of the <br /> existing Duplex Phone & Data Room <br /> 68 <br />
