Bus Operations Center Plan/Design Build <br />The Transit TIP is revised on an annual basis, and as projects get completed, new projects will be <br />advanced from the Mid -Term program to the current TIP. However, many of the transit projects <br />are not within the control of the City. The Plan requires that the City works with other agencies <br />and uses the 2006 CTR Efficiency Act with designated GTEC to ensure that the transit elements <br />are implemented. <br />2. Future Transit Ridership and Level of Service <br />The potential transit ridership with the full program of rail, regional bus and local bus <br />investments is shown on Figure 4.6. This ridership potential is achievable if the levels of service <br />are increased as proposed. It represents a significant increase in transit use and would meet the <br />modal split objectives as well as reducing the traffic congestion if the full transit plan can be <br />implemented. <br />TRANSPORTATION ELEMENT 56 <br />
