<br /> The City applied for and received a grant in 2013 from the US Environmental Protection Agency(EPA)in the amount of
<br /> $400,000 to conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments(ESAs)and cleanup/redevelopment planning
<br /> at Brownfield sites located within the City.
<br /> On August 28,2013,City Council authorized a request for qualifications(RFQ)to support various grant related activities
<br /> to include community outreach,site inventory,assessment,prioritization and cleanup planning. A professional services
<br /> contract was awarded in December 2013 to cover the three year grant period.
<br /> This re-appropriation carries forward the remaining grant funds of$129,672.
