2. The City reserves the right, and expects to make adjustments to these targets based on the <br /> public outreach and planning process it will conduct for the 2015 comprehensive plan <br /> update. <br /> 3. The City encourages the Puget Sound Regional Council to revisit the growth assumptions <br /> used for the 2008 Vision 2040 Regional Growth Strategy in light of the significant <br /> economic recession and circumstances that have changed since the Vision 2040 growth <br /> projections were initially developed. <br /> 4. The City encourages the Puget Sound Regional Council to revisit the RGS policy of <br /> reducing planned growth levels in unincorporated urban growth areas in Snohomish <br /> County, especially in: <br /> a. areas long affiliated with potential annexation plans of the cities in the southwest <br /> Snohomish County urban growth area; and <br /> b. areas planned for high capacity transit service, urban center development, and <br /> high density urban uses served, or capable of being served, by frequent transit <br /> service. <br /> January 9, 2013 <br /> Councilmember Introducing Resolution Date <br /> City Co President <br />
