Note 9 has the code identified. Note 7 has
the Type of Construction. Note 8 has the Occupancy Classifications. Note 11 has the Occupant
Loads (adding up to 81 occupants total).
0 O.K.
A . See already identified on Sheets 1 and 2. Brackets have now been added to help see Units A
through D.
✓4. See Site Plan included.
5.0To my knowledge the drawings now show it.
i/b. O.K.
✓c. See revision to Note 1 on Sheet 1.
d. See header added to New Bath at Unit D on Sheet 2. All other new openings already have
headers called out.
STRUCTURAL:
1. See the framing already on the floor plan on Sheet 1. See "Legend"and floor plan on Sheet 1 for
bearing partitions. The lateral forces engineer, Chris Covington of Structural Design Associates
(SDA), is responsible for the lateral forces design. His new moment frame is already shown on
the Main Floor Plan on Sheet 1. The details of said moment frame is in the drawings prepared
by SDA. To my knowledge, he has not identified any new shear walls, thus I believe him to say
that the existing structure with the new moment frame meets code regarding lateral forces.
2. See framing already shown on the floor plan on Sheet 1. The live load for the new bath.is 40
lbs/sf per Table 1607.1. Dead loads: 5/8" GWB ceiling @ 3 lbs/sf + floor deck @ 1.9 lb/sf +
vinyl flooring @ 1 lb/sf = 5.9 lbs/sf. Thus, D+L =45.9 lbs/sf x 1.33 ft = 61 lbs/If. See revised
calculations page 4 for"occupiable roof" and revised framing on floor plan on Sheet 1.
3. See Note 17 added to Sheet 1.
