E.
PUBLIC WORKS
December 6, 2016
Mr. Doug Engelson, RA
Impression Design
2418 Colby Ave
Everett, WA 98201
Owner: Mr. Stoyan Mitrachkov
Project: Convert first floor offices to two new apartment units and add one unit to
2"d floor
Job Address: 2301 Colby Ave
Plan Check No: BW1602-001
RE: Corrections Letter (Revised after meeting in grey italics) Sent via e-mail
Dear Mr. Mitrachkov, I / /0
In response to the application for a building permit, the plans have been examined and you are
advised that this is an incomplete submittal, per our meeting on November 16th. The revised
drawings received November 18th have been reviewed.
Please review and respond to the comments below. In order for the processing of your
application to continue, it will be necessary to provide two complete new sets of construction
documents reflecting the corrections requested. Please include a response letter that indicates
how the corrections were resolved. Public Works is also reviewing the plans, since a new
sprinkler system will require the location of the DCDA. A Public Works permit application may be
required.
Please note that most of these comments have been issued in prior corrections letters for this
building.
General
✓ 1. If the same drawings are being submitted for new mechanical work, a mechanical
permit application is required indicating the scope of new work.
2. Please indicate on the drawings the scope (whole building) and the type (NFPA-13R) for
the new sprinkler system. The DCDA requires a larger room, if it is not going to be in a
vault, since a separate fire service is required.
S )® A Public Works permit application is required to add fire service to the building. Kirk
{44' Brooks, Paul McKee, and Tim Markham discussed drawings with you and Stoyan
required for the connection to the main for the new sprinkler system, including the
double check detector assembly.
yam.... -...
Page 1
:1")
