Phase 1 includes the following: planning, design, purchase of stop amenities such as shelters, benches, trash cans and bike racks, and beginning construction, as funds allow,through June 30, 2017. The grant does not require a local match.: Future projected Multimodal Tier Funds in the amount of$2,000,000 will be used to finish construction in Phase 2 and will be added by amendment when appropriated by the State Legislature for the July 1, 2017— June 30, 2019 biennium. RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the State Capital Construction Grant Agreement No.GCB2316 for North Broadway Bus Stop Safety Improvements with the Washington State Department of Transportation. 9
