Support-Assist in creating the organizational structure and team necessary <br /> to achieve desired vision and carry-out execution strategies. <br /> Work/Compensation <br /> Consultant will work and will be paid by the City as provided below. <br /> During the next six months (March-August 2018), the Consultant will be paid $275 per <br /> hour for 174 hours of work under this Agreement. Consultant will be available for work at <br /> least 29 hours per month.Travel time on behalf of Everett shall be included in the hours of <br /> work at one-half of the actual travel time. Work beyond 174 hours, if any, shall be <br /> determined in advance between Consultant and the City at a minimum rate of$275 per <br /> hour. The Consultant will invoice and the City will pay each month for Consultant hours <br /> worked during the previous month. The maximum total of all payments to Consultant <br /> under this Agreement is $48,000. <br /> Subject to the maximum payment total under this Agreement of$48,000,the City agrees to <br /> reimburse Consultant for all actual reasonable and necessary expenses, all of which must <br /> be pre-approved by the Deputy Mayor or his designee and be directly related to the <br /> consulting services. With pre-approval by the Deputy Mayor or his designee, Consultant <br /> may also engage independent contractors as needed in providing strategic real estate <br /> advice, design services, marketing, or other related tasks throughout this assignment. <br /> Consultant will provide a proposed scope of work and costs for any additional work to be <br /> considered and potentially paid as a reimbursable expense by the City. The Deputy Mayor <br /> must approve any cost associated with these additional tasks prior to proceeding. <br /> Unless this Agreement is amended (which requires an amendment signed by the Mayor <br /> and Consultant) the maximum total of all payments to Consultant under this Agreement is <br /> $48,000. This $48,000 includes without limitation all compensation to Consultant for <br /> Consultant's services and all payments to Consultant for reimbursement of expenses (such, <br /> for example, invoices from independent contractors). <br />
