GeoDesign observed that non -woven geotextile fabric had been laid out on top of the
spalls and the rest of the over -excavated lot subgrade. GeoDesign observed that crews were in the process of backfiiling
the rest of the over -excavation with recycled concrete to bring up to planned foundation grade.
Lot 226:
observed that crews had placed non -woven geotextile fabric throughout the entire over -excavated lot subgrade.
-observed crews begin to backfill the lot with 2-inch railroad ballast to bring up to planned foundation grade.
GeoDes gnobserved that crews backfilling the over -excavated lot subgrade with 2-inch railroad ballast to bring up to
planned foundation grade.
The contractor was notified of GeoDesign's observations prior to GeoDesign's departure from the site. Craig informed
GeoDesign that crews plan to place all remaining backfill material in lifts and compact with a roller. Crews also plan to
place a thin lift of well -graded crushed rock on top of the foundations to smooth out the lots.
services, We rely on
Peivision or direction
10700 Meridian Avenue North, Suite 402 1 Seattle,WA 98133 1 206.838.9900
2502 Jefferson Avenue I Tacoma, WA 98402 1 253.203.0095
