Other services, such as one-on-one meetings <br /> with an Education and Employment Specialist or a Child and Family Specialist, are <br /> provided on-site on an as-needed basis. <br /> Staffing: <br /> All services are provided by professional staff members. Housing Hope maintains <br /> staffing levels for this project consistent with best practices identified by the Sound <br /> Families Project research: 1:10 case load with specialized support staff for high need <br /> families. All Housing Hope services staff is required to have a Bachelor's-level degree in <br /> Social Work or a related field, or be in the process of completing the degree, preferably <br /> with experience providing services to low-income, at-risk or homeless teens or young <br /> families. The current staff for this proposed project all has at least five (5) years' <br /> experience working with this population; the lead Family Support Coach has over 26 <br /> years of experience working with youth, persons with histories of domestic violence and <br /> persons with histories of mental health issues. All staff are expected to complete <br /> training related to Motivational Interviewing, the Adverse Childhood Experiences Study <br /> (trauma), substance abuse recovery, domestic violence, mental health triage, DSHS <br /> benefits, Child Welfare System, and other specialized topics relating to homelessness. <br />
